Weddings - Our Committment
Wedding Day Photos can never be retaken! To capture these moments, the couple and photographers must prepare together and rehearse. Good photos do not just happen! Our commitment to you includes the following services that will ensure you get the best photos possible.
#1. Free Engagement Session -
This session will result in many wonderful images, but the primary objective of this time is to get to know each other, and to relax in front of the camera. No one wants a stranger photographing them on the most important day of their lives. Many are not used to being photographed and are nervous. Truthfully, the first 15 minutes or so of the engagement session result in images that we often throw out. There is an awkwardness, a stiffness that soon melts away. The couple then relaxes and has fun. The images are great. This feeling of confidence carries over to the wedding day portraits.
#2. Free Bridal Session -
Again, the primary objective is to build a comfortable presence before the camera. Very few photographers offer this session, because most do not have
professional studios. This is a relaxed fun session in our studio. Basically, this is a study of the bride
in her gown and veil, done before the wedding day. Most of our brides choose to come over
after they have their trial hair and make-up,
but anytime is fine. Beautiful lighting, graceful poses result in stunning images. It’s not even the day of the wedding and already we have
lovely portraits of the bride. And to make it even better, some bring their bridesmaids and/or parents with them. We love that...more amazing photos taken before the wedding day begins.
#3. Teamwork -
You will always have a minimum of two photographers covering your wedding. When you hire us,
we will be the ones who will be photographing the wedding, not some new staff
member.

Pricing
We offer our services differently, because we want you to have the
flexibility to choose what you need, and to choose what fits into your budget.
Joan and Keith shoot together as a team, so you always get two photographers. Please come in and sit down with us to discuss your ideas, and your budget. Take advantage of our
free one hour NO pressure consultation. We accept VISA, MasterCard, PayPal.
Payment plans are available.
For Saturday Wedding Coverage, we have a minimum charge of $2500. This can
include any combination of our time with you and our products, such as the high
resolutiion jpegs, slide show, album, etc. For all other days, weddings
and related sessions, the coverage is by the hour and we have NO minimum
charges. This provides exceptional value to our clients.
What's different about our wedding services and products?
Our creative fee is hourly. Let us know how many hours you want us to
photograph your wedding, and we will give you the basic cost. Our hourly
fee is $200. per consecutive hour. From there,
you can decide what products you want. Please email or call us for the
cost of the DVD of high resolution jpegs, slide show, albums, prints, etc.
The following is a list of additional wedding related sessions that we offer.
Even if you have not booked us as your wedding photographer, you can book these
sessions from us. The engagement session, bridal session, the post-wedding session,
and the
photo booth are open to everyone, even if we are not their wedding day
photographer.
- Engagement session: Let us capture who you are as a couple. Fun, romantic
images in the studio or in the park. This session is FREE to couples whose
wedding we are photographing. For others who are looking only for an engagement
photographer, the cost is $400. This is for both two hours of photo-time and
assorted prints. Contact us for more details. We can use these portraits to design
wedding invites. Please look under "SESSIONS" to see
examples of our wedding invitations.
- Bridal Session: These studio portraits of the bride, done prior to the wedding
day, are beautiful! The two hour session is FREE with all our wedding
clients. If this "fashion-style" studio photo session is of interest to you,
but we are not photographing your wedding we have an ongoing special:
$300. for both two hours of photo-time and assorted prints. We are nationally accredited in Studio Portraiture, and
specialize in dramatic, well lit images. This can be done during
the evening and is very affordable!
- Photo Booth: Lots of fun for everyone! We supply an assortment of
hats, masks, glasses, boas, umbrellas, and lots other things to allow your
guests enjoy posing. You get the high resolution jpegs to copy and share with
your guests. If we are doing your wedding and are at the reception already, the
added cost for you is an additional $350. If we are not doing your wedding, we
would be happy to come to your reception and set up our equipment. Cost:
$700, which includes 3.5 hours of photo-time and the DVD of jpegs.
- Post-Wedding Photo Session: Stunning images taken at locations that were
not available on the wedding day due to the time constraints. Imagine
gazing at your reflection in a mountain lake while sitting on a dock. Set
up a picnic on the prairies, or dance in the badlands. The possibilities
are endless! We LOVE the Post-Wedding Session! There is no time pressure,and it
is ALL about the bride and groom. For our wedding clients, the cost is $450.
which includes the photo-time and the high resolution jpegs will be included in
your wedding DVD. For those wanting us to do only the post wedding session, and
not their wedding, the cost is $400 for two hours of photo-time. The DVD of
jpegs and/or prints is available at an additional cost. Please
contact us for details.
